WEBB was hired to help in the development of UC Riverside's School of Medicine Education Building II.

UCR has an existing tunnel system that conveys piping throughout the campus. WEBB was required to protect the tunnels in place while designing underground utilities and surface grading.

WEBB used creative grading to ensure approximately 20-FT of elevation change allowed ADA access throughout the project while keeping access to existing facilities.

A loading dock was proposed along the western side of the building, requiring the use of AutoCAD truck turning templates to make sure trucks could enter and exit safely while
maintaining existing grades over the tunnel system.

Surrounding buildings were required to remain accessible throughout the project, even with the tight project staging areas.
