Project Coordinator


Our team has a potential opening for a highly motivated and skilled Project Coordinator. In this position, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to members of the team and work in concert with Project Managers to obtain success for projects. Hourly range: $26.15-$36.05

Responsibilities


  • Project Coordination: Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Documentation Management: Prepare, review, and manage project documentation, including contracts, proposals, reports, and ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
  • Communication: Serve as a key liaison between the construction management team, clients, and other departments, facilitating clear and timely communication to keep all stakeholders informed of project status.
  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, to meet project needs and deadlines effectively.
  • Budget Tracking: Monitor project budgets and expenditures, assisting in the preparation of cost estimates and financial reports to ensure projects remain within budget.
  • Client Interaction: Support the CMI Managers in maintaining positive client relationships by addressing inquiries, scheduling meetings, and providing updates on project progress.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist in reviewing deliverables for accuracy and completeness before submission to clients, ensuring that all work meets company quality standards.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline project workflows and improve efficiency within the department.

Requirements


  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a project coordination or administrative role, preferably within the civil engineering or construction industry.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project, and Outlook) and experience with project management software.
  • Organizational Skills:
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Communication:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving:
    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate project needs and address issues proactively.
  • Adaptability:
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
