For example, our GPS Aerial target control networks save time and reduce costs. Post Processed Static & RTK Networks work together with CORS/SOPAC data available via the internet, to establish a large scale network in a very efficient manner. Our specialized software allows the versatility of data to be utilized from many free available GPS base stations operating throughout the region.
With the large scale network established by State Plane Coordinates, the Real Time Kinematics (RTK) capabilities of our multiple receiver systems are used to complete the ground survey control network of targets for aerial mapping in 1/10 the time of conventional survey methods. By using up to four receivers simultaneously, data can be collected in one-fourth the time of even Rapid Static GPS technology. This combined technology method maintains extreme accuracy over broadcast Real Time RTK methods while greatly reducing cost and time.
GIS data pre-purchased from commercial vendors for up-to-date parcel data throughout the region is combined with our State Plane Coordinate survey network of mapping to quickly produce base maps that provide extensive data beyond the typical Alignment and Right-of-Way base map, without adding cost or time to the project. In addition, Air Photo digital color photographic data on the same datum can be incorporated for exhibits or used in planning aids at no additional costs
Research sources available through commercial vendors such as Doc Edge allows extensive public records such maps, parcel data and deeds to be retrieved without leaving the office. Since WEBB already maintains these extensive current data base tools, they are available immediately without the need to order new data for any specific areas.
With our extensive experience, we have developed the most efficient ways to provide existing utility data. Our crews collect data anywhere within a 20 mile radius using GPS technology from pre-established network base stations and radio repeaters. The availability of our hand held GIS data collector using Post Processed data technology is used to collect and catalog utility data while providing accurate locations over autonomous GPS data collectors. Data is processed to sub meter accuracy from our Trimble GeoXT receiver and post processing software to work seamlessly with our Trimble GPS receivers and Trimble/Spectra Precision Terramodel CAD software.
Our field crews provide construction staking services with minimal setup time through our design phase data. The advantage of our seamless software-to-hardware technology allows our office technicians to use the alignment and control network data incorporated in the base map file to provide construction control for use by field survey crews. This eliminates the extraneous process of importing and creating control alignments and establishing construction control networks.
