Currently, approximately 20,000 vehicles use Barton Road in the City of Grand Terrace as an alternative route to Loma Linda and Redlands. This cut-through traffic is creating congestion within the City’s roadways and at the Barton Road Interchange. The City of Grand Terrace has selected WEBB to provide traffic engineering services on an as-needed basis through June of 2012 to assist the City in collaborating with SANBAG, Caltrans, and Riverside County Transportation Commission to resolve some of these traffic issues and improve the City’s network.
